I had a bro once that had one of those mid sized south American cats, not a Jaguar, an Ocelot.
Anyway, one night he was sleeping and some homeboy decided to pay him a midnight visit and help
himself to some of his stuff, well as he slid in the kitchen window backwards, he stepped on her!
He got away, but the poor guy's kitchen looked like someone had been murdered with a chainsaw
in there! big hunks of the guys clothes mixed in with the mess too. no idea what happened to the
burglar, but I'll bet he reconsidered his choice of professions after that!

My vet had a Lynx. You had better not try to pet it without asking first. It had lightning fast reflexes and it would slap you. No claws out but you knew not to do it again.
Sadly she died of old age. The cat not the vet.
