I wonder about the credibility of the source. 1) Why would they leave their prayer rugs behind? 2) If they were worried about detection,why bring them in the first place? 3) No details provided as to even which state this was happening in. Now I don't doubt there are Muslims sneaking in but the prayer rug part seems a bit too finger pointing convenient.
