Reminds me of the adapters they made for air tool "silencers".
Funny thing, they still sell the 1/2x28 threaded ones at the industrial supply.

WIX oil filter part numbers start with 5.
I believe their fuel filters start with a 3.
I've never seen any WIX filter start with a 4.
And I've been handling them three days a week for 2 years.

It's a scam.

From what ive seen at the shows they use a Fram PH5 which is a very common gm filter.

Well, since the Fram oil filter is regarded as junk by serious car guys, maybe this is the best it can do.

Wix does build a few 4 prefex filters, for high flow low pressure applications like slip tanks, but they have a 5 digit part number and are heavy, Fram engine oil filters are light, since they have so little filtering medium in them,

Those look remarkably like a muffler for my .22 litre model reaction engine.

oil filters aren't hard to make unless you're more worried about microns than db. lmao

You know, Cobray made a device so you could use a two liter bottle as a filter...
