Maybe after the SHTF, but if doing so now, wouldn't the mix pretty much mean after sitting unused for a while, that you'd need to clean, etc. the lamp thoroughly before using it?
Pre-SHTF, I just keep all my oil lamps loaded with lamp oil, so they'll be ready in a pinch, but I can see how mixing (after the SHTF) can help stretch it, if in heavy use and not sitting for a while.
Assuming by then, I'd be up and making biodiesel, that'd probably be what I'd use though.
