"NOTHING" serious has happened (yet). But activity & volume has been increasing. Basically, as the sun rotates the more intense storms will rotate towards earth. There have been some substantial eruptions recently on the "back" side of the sun. Those eruptions "SHOULD They REMAIN ACTIVE" will be facing earth over the next 10 or 12'ish days.

CANNIBAL CME ALERT: A series of M-class flares over the weekend hurled multiple CMEs toward Earth, as many as four or five. According to a NOAA model, the first two CMEs are merging to form a single Cannibal CME. Strong G3-class geomagnetic storms are possible when it reaches Earth on July 30th. The Cannibal CME is clearing the way for perhaps 2 to 3 more CMEs following behind it. SOHO coronagraphs show a wagon-train of clouds leaving the sun on July 28th:

I've seen the moon do this. We did tend to have more ambulance calls during a full moon. Or maybe we just imagined we did. As far as geomagnetic storms ... up until our current age of the internet I don't remember anybody even knowing that one was happening. Maybe a few random scientists here and there, but the population at large ... no.

What do you "Personally" gain from pushing back against those in the prepping section, who are attempting to help others, "OR" those who are genuinely interested in learning. Why do you even care, why do you even bother disrupting members whose primary interest is the prepping section of this forum. Is it EGO......??? Truly looking for an answer, as to what you feel you are accomplishing....???

If that is valid, it is not working. It comes across as intentionally disruptive. Also, as a "failed" attempt to appear funny. Your above post is typical of "failed" attempt at humor.

I don't think you come the prepping section for answers. The appearance is you come to the prepping section to disrupt serious discussions. I suspect you are uncomfortable with serious prepping discussion, so you try humor, and clownish attacks.

Something took out some pretty advanced civilizations in the past so if it wasn't the sun, what was it , that bears a bit of research. I have seen what voltage spikes do to some solid state vehicle management systems, it wasn't that much of a spike but it sure confused things
