We was out looking in our local surplus store today seeing what new goodies they had, not much new stuff from the week before so we decided to head over to goodwill and ended up scoring big time, they had a rack of early 60s G.I issue surplus heavy wool pants (never worn) $12.99ea I purchased 5 of em, goodwill of all places!

I have spent tireless hours scowering the internet and you can find things very cheap on ebay, craigslist, bookoo and other sites. If I were you, I would try to get out to Joint Base Lewis McChord, and scower after a unit comes back from deployment, and also check the local bookoo out there.

I go to Ft. Lewis all the time, I still have access to many parts of lewis there :) I still buy clothing but finding cold weather gear is a hit and miss though mostly a miss though I never tried bookoo... Thank You!

Also, look this shop up.

Barre ArmyNavy Store. They are located in Vermont but they always have all sorts of sweet deals going on...

sorry to say that where I am at we have no army surplus, however we do have Salvation Army, Frenchies, and a few more thrift stores about which we look in monthly....thanks

Yeah it does suck that you can't go and look around. Being around a US Army Base theres TONS of stuff to pick up. If theres anything your looking for particularily I can look and see if I have it or can get it for you.
