I came out at 5:30 this morning to skywatch the meteor shower and it was probably the best one I’ve ever seen. Last night was the peak but there’s still some for a couple more nights. Saw at least 30, making an average of one a minute. Some big, some small, and one plane that was an imposter.... it’s good to remember how small we are in the universe.

I was up, but didnt even look up. My loss

It was raining here. I watched the science channel last night. It showed a telescope that takes pictures and maps the universe. It doesn't show galaxies, but it shows galaxy clusters and how they all connect and web together. It was like looking at some nerve tissue under a microscope. We are small indeed!

It is humbling to consider the distances and all the billions of galaxies out there.
