I have a husky who is too friendly for protection, would of course require lots of food and water and cannot be let off the leash for obvious husky reasons. This way he could be a liability but once he is bigger I'm planning to get dog saddlebags so he can carry his own food and water with him if needs be as I could not bear to let him go during a bugout if I can help it. What are you guys planning on doing with your furry dependent friends if it came to it, any suggestions for when his food runs out?

I'll be taking dogs with me, they are accustom to eating rabbits and squirrels, chewing on the bones from my kills. We have ample water from streams and abundant of small game!

If you live in a area where you will have a hard time foraging for food and water for yourself then I would be very hesitant bringing any animal, it all boils down to this "your life"
This needs to be answered 'what if'
