Plane threats over the weekend

A couple of F-15's even had to escort one plane.
Personally, I think this was a dry run to test our responses to the threats, for a future action.

One thing's for sure (to me anyhow), this was a coordinated effort, and while the threats didn't pan out, I'd be wary of them trying to create a "Boy crying wolf" scenario, with them hoping we just don't take them seriously any more, then striking with another plane attack.
 
Pretty much my thoughts are the same on this one, Gazrok. Them trying to figure out how fast can we respond on multiple simultaneous incidents. In fact I feel that most of the high level incidents have been practice runs, just testing, checking and watching responses. What better way to learn on how high one can set the bar.
