those plastic shakers definitely come in handy for other uses, after what came in them to begin with,is all used up..i had saved these shakers way back when ever..1st pic is of my tostitos salsa came in.i use it for my extra cinnamon n sugar mix.while the shaker is for what's in use.just open.and shake out the amount i want on my cinnamon toast..the 3 in the other pic.is sea salt, lite salt and f course,my cinnamon and sugar mix..they remain on top of my microwave stand.which is directly next to my stove top and oven..and i figure doing things this way,.is better then keeping them in the card board shakers they come in..

I use me he for homemade spices, like taco seasoning, ground dried pepper, onion & garlic powder. Also for as D's when planting small ones in the garden, like carrots, mustard, etc where I just scatter and then thin out some.
