So now major cities are going to slash police funding.

I think this is absolutely great! What can go wrong? Heck, I'm excited, let's tell all police to take a full month of vacation. Let people solve their problems the non-police way. Got a neighbor that blasts music all night/weekends? Go over, beat the crap out of him, destroy his audio equipment, and let him know that next time, even a hospital won't be able to put him back together. Got a freak child molester in the neighborhood? Go send him to his final Judgement. Know the drug dealer who sold the drugs to your kid who overdosed? Time for justice.

There will be a ton of judge/jury/executioner cases opened and closed within days. A gazillion future crimes will be stopped before they happen.

Let them get on with it, form neighbourhood watch groups, or like the Afrikaans did with Response groups connected by cell phones / ham / CB. Oh and of course if your state cuts funding to the constabularies etc insist on a refund from the state for the police precept part of your taxes. why should you pay for a public service they no longer provide.

It's a billion now. But, they normally get 8 billion of findings, if they slash a billion then, they end up about 7bill. It is, however, very alarming because Fed and sheriffs deed all the help they can get and that billion-dollar that they are taking can mean life and death. I think the black community is making a very good and solid case for Apartheid. Let the blacks live in and work in their own towns and police / govern and employ themselves, and the white community does the same. if the two groups are separated then their simply cannot be any racism?
