There comes a point (generally painful) when one slowly becomes aware that the cost to fix is imprudent. Maters not, be it equipment or relationships.

Sadly, Justice has several levels these days, it used to be guilty or innocent, now its who you are, how rich you are, what god you like, who you sleep with, where you went to school etc, THEN its all the same about your lawyer and the judges.

As my friends from the wood lot say:
Poor justice!

Locally, we had a drunk driver, driving in the wrong direction and hit a police car head on. 1 officer killed on impact, her partner seriously injured and will never be able to be an officer again. The 19 year old, who didn't have a license to drive got 20 years. I am sure he will probably get out sooner than that. We have J6'ers who basically walked thru the capitol, staying within the red roped off area who are getting the same sentences and some even more. It makes NO SENSE at all!

We don't have a justice system. We have a legal system where if you have enough money, influence, or notoriety on your side you can get away with just about anything.
Guilt or innocents make no difference to the protected class.
