Took mom to meet my brother for ride home. Last transfer, I reminded her not to put glass containers into plastic garbage bags.

Sooo this morning, I open the trunk and a garbage bag falls out breaking a bottle of cheap wine. I went through the bag digging out her now purple clothing. Wine splattered all over me and my shoes were slippery.

I go into a restroom and clean as much as possible because I had to stop by grocery.

In the grocery the cashier actually asked me if I was okay. I'm guessing I smelled like a wino. Thank goodness I was in a different county and no one knew me.

Will she learn her lesson this time? Stay tuned.

I swear I hate having to educate stupid people. I live by an LNVA canal and They are out mowing it which they have not done in a long time. The grass is over knee high. While this guy is mowing he brings up the machine to trim tree branches. In the process of that, he cuts a branch which is about 6 inches in diameter but didn't cut all the way thru. The big branch falls on the big cows fence breaking the hotwire. It was a good thing I was home today to see this. I cleared everything I could except the one branch cause needed a saw or chainsaw for that one. Went back home and had a little talk with him on the other end about what yellow clippy things mean when it is on a fence and what purpose they have. . . I was outside for goodness sakes. All he had to do was tell me about breaking the electric line, but he didn't bother saying a word about it. The line is there for a reason. Maybe I should have not bothered saying anything and let him meet our bull Charlie, who doesn't like loud machinery in or near his pasture. Maybe then he would learn!
