I am looking at expanding my taters this year!

I want to buy mostly blue/purple potatoes for their cancer fighting benefit, but in my experience they haven't done well. I'm open to others, of course, too.

Does anyone have good information and experience on the most productive varieties and where to buy them?

I would like early to mid seasons. We might be able to eke out 100-110 growing days in a good year, but I'm more comfortable with those that need less.

Holy cow! I need some of those varieties. I had planned on getting Magic Molly, but I thought fingerings were ones that you harvested throughout the season? I grew fingerlings once years ago, but that was before I knew what I was doing.

For anyone who can't watch they were:
Huckleberry- big red ones, prolific
Susitna Gold- good tasting, smaller
Fiesta- red & white skin
German Butterball- white
Russet- I think there were two?
Shepody-
Magic Molly- purple/blue
Magic Myrna- red with gold flesh. Good tasting
Daisy Gold-
French Fingerling-
True potato russet- prolific

They really got a lot for only about 20-25 plants.
Check out this couples videos! They grow and catch all their own food. Her purple potato harvest is the best I’ve seen!
