power cut in London.

apparently there was a power cut in West London yesterday evening, was watching a film report of it this morning, and some woman on the street in the background was heard to remark :"its apocalyptic!"
NO Missus, what it is is pathetic! and i'm talking about your attitude!! but it just goes to show us what most people will think , even in a minor power cut they think its the end of the world!!
heck, they even panic when the stores are shut for one day (Christmas day)
people eh??

For me a power outage is when my generator runs out of fuel. Unlike some people, it doesn't make me want to riot, loot and burn things.....

in this case neither did anyone else, the power cut only lasted from 5.15PM until 9PM but when it happened this one "lady" thought it was the end of the world!!

that is pathetic.in my case.i simply think,this is a great time to use what i have for light,and what ever,for other needs...

exactly, I lived without electricity for 12 years, 4 hours would have been nothing.
