PREPPER ADJACENT: Which groups align with the Prepper Community?

I wish younger folks would stop with the word games and labels, kind of like in sports, everyone gets a participation trophy. Preppers started with a meaning and this prepper adjacent thing just thrown the context out the window. I 100% disagree with his analogy.

Like knives. I'm not on any knife forums but I spend way too much time watching Youtube videos of knife people talking about different kinds of knives. And one of the owners of the company I work for is a knife lover too and we often talk about knives. He has some pretty awesome ones too.

Some of us JUST HAVE NO DESIGNATION JONTTE...I am just happy with my knowledge that I am ready for many emergencies, disasters and lack of food and water flow. I can walk away from the "establishment" and do well, I have done it before. (although much younger then). Those who need to do and say the BS like the "adjacents" are what we call "legends in their own minds". I have watched those types come and go. Make some money, sell a book, sell some knives and disappear again. Make some noise in the world like a bit of hot wind through the desert and never to heard from again. After 45 years of prepping and carrying a BOB before it had that name, I can only rely on myself, my experience and my plans. if I call myself anything its a prepared survivalist, I suppose some of my alternative friends in Glastonbury could be called aligned with prepping, and I know a couple of people who have smallholdings (homesteads to our American cousins) but that's probably about it. more than 99% of the UK population are sheeple that would be the largest "group" over here.
