We realised that the bottles of moisturised hand sanitizer we use among the family was getting low, so wife said she would get some online, We like the types that moisturise as well as sanitize as it stops the skin from drying out. Search Amazon, E Bay, and three supermarkets, its either out of stock or they have trebled the price. So I thought i would look at FFP3 and N95 N 99 masks and yes the prices have either doubled, trebled or quadrupled in many stores, same applies for nitrile gloves.

They have found that soap and water work just as well or better than hand sanitizer for killing germs.
Harbor Freight has the masks and gloves, at regular price. NOT affiliated with Harbor Freight in any way, shape or manner.
Isopropyl alcohol will disinfect hands in a hurry, is cheap, and effective . . . just a little messy.
After pouring rubbing alcohol on your hands, use moisturizer.
May not be quite as convienent as hand sanitizer, but it works well and is cheap.

I got in stocks a long time ago, not waited for something to actually happen, bought at regular prices .
I did buy some "corona" virus masks the other week but only to top up my supplies, bought at a reasonable price, I think this was before the virus exploded in China, and I bought in the UK, fast delivery no waiting.
