A while ago I was reading about how negative the world is today and how it affects us all.
It also said that something online as easy as smilies can make some feel better if only a little but it can also make those giving them out to an extreme look less sincere and self gratifing rather than what they intended.
What do yall say?The way I see it is they are positive, don't cost anything and a nice gesture. And represents a smile or caring.

The amish have been using hand drawn smiley faces in their letter writing forever.
I don't like it when someone texts a face to me because my phone is so old, it won't acknowledge it, and all I see for the text is squares.
Me too!
I do however have an extensive library of emojis for conversations here.
They make reading much more enjoyable by breaking up the monotony of simple text and help you share how you feel.

Hey, we're old flip phone twins!:D
Yep. Much to the dismay of others, they still work perfect!
Don't tell nobody, but what I like most about mine, I usually go 2-4 days at a time without it bothering me at all!
