Then you have to consider the logistics it takes to move these injured folks which puts them at risk as well.

There are most likely more humane ways to disable a person and this form is definitely not one of the more humane ways at all....

same as my DI said to us during training;boys,give them enemies a nice big wound in the stomach area,takes one down plus two others to carry that wounded person away and he will scream like hell all the way...

Just be sure your air intakes/exhaust are a) far away from the structure, and b) well hidden !!!

Remember, you have to think like the enemy. For example, if I were the enemy, I would search for these, and simply clog them up. No digging out needed. Or even feed tear gas, etc. into the intake. Force you out.

Have to think like a ******* to defend against them.

Punjii sticks?

Down here in Florida, we actually have bamboo that grows all over the place...so I can do punjii sticks in the traditional manner.

By the way...the punjii sticks should be smeared with an equal mixture of feces, blood, and chopped-up raw shellfish--not just fecal matter.

If you carve grooves into the sharp end of the punjii sticks, there will be more surface area for the mixture to adhere to and make them more effective.

One last note: I hope there aren't a lot of kids around who may like to play in the yard.

Other tricks are worth mentioning:

Hanging tiny fish hooks with extra thin monofiliment line at eye level...of course making sure that the hooks are smeared with the feces/blood/shellfish mix.

Rigging a metal pipe with an endcap and nail (as a firing pin) and placing a shotgun shell in it. Insert a dowel on top on the shotshell, and bury the whole contraption. If the enemy steps on it...the shell goes off and shoots him in the groin.

Rigging a tripwire to a bent sapling that has punjii sticks lashed to it. You can see this if you watched the first Rambo movie where he was being chased in the boonies by the townie cops. To make this ****y trap, consider the snare with a bent sapling and loop of wire on the ground. Now think of it horizontal instead of vertical, and having punjii sticks lashed to it.

Pornographic magazines can be used to bait ****y traps. Most men will stop and casually pick up a porn mag that happens to be lying around. You can also bait a ****y trap with money, and/or possibly a gun if you have a broken gun that looks good on the outside. If you do this, make sure that there is other litter in the area so the porn magazine won't seem out of place.

And so on.

I shudder to think of some innocent person, maybe even a child,
impaled on a feces laden punji stick.
A trip wired shotgun shell yet...............some poor curious child is
going to get maimed or killed.
Not to mention someone's dog missing it's face to a shotgun shell ****y trap.
We aren't in a shtf situation. Not yet anyway.
I'd rather help folks than maim and kill them and their children.

Well.....................most of us do anyway.
Imagine any natural disaster if there were no Red Cross, no volunteers, no FEMA,

Everyone that has half way strong mental health would come together
to help others in need.
So would you.

I served 22.5 years helping those in need.
It cost me 13 serious injuries, 9 months in rehab learning to
get use of my legs back and I regret nothing.
I didn't do it for commendations.
Still I have 6 commendations for valor, one from the Governor of Ohio, the
Director of the Ohio State Highway Patrol and various civic organizations.
Over 30 awards in all.
Forgive me if I seem a bit proud of my actions.
After 9 months in rehab I went to college at age 48 and by 53 I had
earned two degrees.
Lazy and stupid I'm not.

I didn't start the thread, and I was only speaking in theoretical terms

In other posts, I've mentioned that I've set aside extra food for my neighbors.

I've also expressed concern about other posters mentioning grenades.

Lots of Preppers have the idea that post shtf there will be no electricity , no Military or Lae Enforcement or anything that resembles life today . Thats not true that would be TEOTWAWKI . Look at some of the major desaster areas and war torn areaes .
