I've always had limited cell service from home. But recently I had to get a new cell phone. Now I have zero internet and zero phone service unless I'm in town. Even text messages take a day or two to go through. Phones, internet and computers suck. I'll be glad when this electronic fad runs its course.

exactly, but once its done there will be a lot of people who cannot live without their technology, its yet another addiction.

Won about half of the pool games yesterday, after 2 hours, I thought how quiet it was and realized.....no cell phone.....forgot it at home. Did not even miss anything. GP

About the only thing I will miss is the convenience of ordering products online instead of the old way of snail-mail or long distance phone calls. The internet and smart phones have destroyed any civil discourse we humans had left and spawned a new chapter of human damnation... maybe Darwin had a point except he had it backwards.

Still here, just not on as much. First due to all the holidays, but also due to me just not being able to do much prepwise these days, beyond what's already done. More importantly, I've got 3 rooms in the house that are more like storage closets right now, that need to get cleaned out and made more functional. One as a game room, the other as a craft room/home office, and the last one, from tack shop to crop and painting studio (though this last one will likely be either later in the year, or next year, as other projects have priority).

I’ve grown accustom to gps, email, online research and shopping, etc. I would survive loosing it but would dearly miss it. I believe we are living in the best time for the average human being right now. Kings didn’t have the selections of food, indoor plumbing, comfortable cars with heat and AC and all the things we take for granted. I agree with Maverick about the younger generations having a really hard time loosing technology and all our comforts. I have a strong feeling we are near the top of where our economy and technology will ever be.

still here, enjoying my one day off from work...back to the grind tomorrow...
love my job,but I hate to do it understaffed, can't perform my duties as they should be done and the management don't care..

I'm still here, haven't been posting much because I was gone to my parents' farm for a week (internet doesn't work well there) and then working like crazy since I got back. Trying to get settled in and plan for the new year.

I love vacations but with the extra working to get ready to go and then the extra catching up when back I sometimes think it would be easier to just work regularly! Lol. Seriously, the best things in life are being with people we care about, seeing and experiencing new places and things and eating new meals/flavors. It’s always worth the effort.
