I found this and it really hit home for me I thought I should share it ...

First they came for the communists,and I didn’t speak out because I wasn’t a communist.
Then they came for the socialists,and I didn’t speak out because I wasn’t a socialist.
Then they came for the trade unionists,and I didn’t speak out because I wasn’t a trade unionist.
Then they came for me,and there was no one left to speak for me.

"First of all, I didn't set a red line. The world set a red line." Obama, today

(if Syria used chemical weapons)
“That would change my calculus — that would change my equation.” Obama, a year ago. Certainly doesn't sound like "the world" talking there.

He most certainly DID draw that line. I guess he forgot what he said a year ago. Not to mention, if this was the case, then why not put it to the UN? Easy, because Russia will veto it. So, apparently one of the five security council members isn't part of the "world" that set this red line, eh Obama?

Democracy is the art and science of running the circus from the monkey cage.
H. L. Mencken
Putin made a comment about Obama being a monkey with a hand grenade. Not that I believe Obama to be a true democrat, but the quote is still funny.

Tyrants are seldom free;
the cares and the instruments of their tyranny enslave them.
~George Santayana~
Tyrants not only exist as dictators of countries,
but in any domain where they can have control over others.

"Life is short, art long, opportunity fleeting, experience treacherous, judgement difficult". And thats by Hypocrites.

And I got a kick out of some of these;

I have six locks on my door all in a row. When I go out, I lock every other one. I figure no matter how long somebody stands there picking the locks, they are always locking three.

From my Dad, "God promised you a lot of things, fair play not being one of them!"

Give a man a fish and he will eat for a day. Teach a man to fish, he will eat for life. this is one my grandfather is constantly is saying.
That actually came from the Bible.

In Heaven, there is no beer. That's why we drink it here. In Heaven, there is no beer. So while we're here, we'll be drinking all the beer :cool:

(From a Polka song)

BigAdam, my apologies for the mistake. It came from a Chinese Proverb. Thanks Lindy for pointing that out. (I thought all along it came from the Bible:()

A bone to the dog is not charity.
Charity is the bone shared with the dog,
when you are just as hungry as the dog.
~Jack London~

When President Obama was in Los Angeles, he visited the DreamWorks Studios. Now don't confuse DreamWorks with Obamacare — that was a dream that didn't work
