I was going to leave the pit 'intact', and possibly have 1 litter so she could be a mom at least once. Then I came home after the first time she went into heat. It looked like Freddy crugar had killed three people in the house. I spoke to the vet, and when she told me that this was pretty common for pits to produce that much blood it ended the possibilities! I guess I'm getting soft in my old age. I would have never allowed a dog in the house most of my life, now, the dog owns it and let's me come inside!
