This is a true tail that is . To be honest, petty
I was working on my Truck a couple of weeks ago, it was in the high 90s and I was baking like a piece of chicken in a skillet. I had just opened a bottle of Gator aid and it was sitting on the tool box
I wanted a drink and the bottle was empty A new guy was working with us and I asked him about my Drink
He said Yes I drank it ,why?
Ok. I am instant pissed, I said that was mine, why did you drink it?
His answer
No one said not to
I just stood there and said. Yeah, yeah. I guess your right And dropped it. I did not say another word . But, I am boiling mad. Time rocked on and I let it slide. Till yesterday
He went to the store for some parts and brought back a six pack of miller
So I drank them, chugged them actually all of them.
He looked in the cooler and found empty cans floating in the water. I hear a. WTHeck? And a question
Did you drink my beer? Yeah I did
I was thirsty.
He said that was my beer and why did you drink it I let out a beer burp and said nobody told me not to !!!!!!
Petty? Yeah, childish? Yeah
But I feel mo betta Burp!!!!
I believe he got an education

After my divorce I kind of adopted the believe that the best revenge was to live well. Trust me I was put through the wringer & lost just about everything so the idea gave me a little comfort back then. As time went on I would hear about my ex & it didn't look like karma had gotten her. She remarried to a guy making good money & she was making good money & we (I remarried) were doing ok. Then the first stage of karma kicked in when I stopped paying child support. She hadn't changed & 2 months after CS stopped they had to declare bankruptcy. That also led into them getting a divorce. On her own she really went down hill financially & about the same time our finances started paying off. She also started using our sons to cover financially for her spending problems. She ended up living in government housing & our son's not talking to her. I would actually feel sorry for her if she had ever accepted the fact that she was the problem. Oh Well.

Sometimes my wife will mention my first wife, I honestly have to work to remember her name. Some things are best forgotten, kind of like a 20 year root canal.. The good thing was it taught me what BAD looks like, everything else was just a step up. ;)

In my younger, wilder days we had a guy in our platoon who was let's say problematic and did not understand that females had the right to not be harassed by him constantly. One night he went after a female soldier and she barely escaped, reporting what had happened to a buddy of mine. We waited until an hour or so before sunrise, collected the sleeping guy with tactical precision, knocked him out, stripped him bare, zip tied him to a flag pole and let the ladies know. A couple female soldiers wrote "no means no" on his back in lipstick and left him until the MP's found him at reveille. Message delivered.

Guard your next 5 drinks as you did drink all of his , he has some catching up to do 😂

I had a friend, maybe sort of a friend, who was married to a mediocre looking woman. She caught him cheating and left him. She showed up at my door about a year later looking good, dammmn good. She spent that year growing out her hair, working out, upscaling her clothes and makeup and making sure her looks alone would serve as a punishment for his infidelity. And it worked.

Just saying the ex doesn't always end up an ogre or burn out, but I am sure it's nice when they do!

Friend of mine had a nice rifle collection.
His ex let it slip that she was going after his guns in the divorce so he took action
He knew the dweeb she was screwing and knew he did not know anything about a gun
Phone call was made to a local pawn shop and he bought the shops trash can full of junk
He swapped out all the rifles
Judge said she gets the collection.

Reason #471 to never get married. Weapon retention.

That sounds like a Country music song
“She let her self go”

Guess I was lucky the wife can be hard to live with at times, but we weather the storms.
My living story is all the coworkers who didn’t save for retirement, some made more than I.
I left them working & some still are.

My Ex got cross registered on a CC permit.
She got them in the divorce.
Probably the only person in the world that did not have a boating accident

Hey! How'd you get ahold of My autobiography??! :) jk, but.. Dang.. Pretty durn close..

Only big diff. was that the guy my ex remarried Was very "Rich" (inherited his Father's turnkey masonry biz / full customer base  ) but he turned out to be a Raging Alkie - who nearly killed himself, drinking one year... She found him in the fetal position, clutching his gut, wallowing in his blood and liquid 💩 in the shower.. Talk about "Winning"..

..Though, my story also deviates in that She / he are still Way "richer" than I am (at least in 'Dollar Value' - but.. that's OK, I'm Richer in all the Things that Matter.

Anyhoo, Way to Go, Frodo 👍 but.. Yah.. Agreed, ya should deffo 'child-proof' yer bottles / cans / thermosees for awhile.. Either that, or set up a 'Honey Pot' - a Nice frosty 12 oz Gatorade.. with 10 oz of it being Magnesium-Citrate 'Turbo-Lax'... 😈🤭

..Just don't get it mixed up with Yers.. 😱😬

Here is how I got revenge on my wife’s Ex. I went out with her in HS He started up with her in Grad school.
She married me #### after, he married #### after. We both have the same name, but at least I am of the opposite gender.
The Ex was so creepy, he sent us a wedding card. We didn’t send him one.

Great... Now you made me think of my ex.
Sometimes I wonder if she is still alive, (since she was 9 years older than me).
Naaa, just kidding... I never do!

I was working for a small local business that mum's brother got me initially a 3 month trial period which was meant to result in a pt job/wage, training in horticulture certificate 2 and light rigid truck licence however all 4 promises went down the proverbial 🚽when a big business known as Bedford Industries did a complete takeover I tolerated their 🐂💩 for another 24 months then they tried to get me to do an unpaid training course on my day off ended up walking away from them after nearly 3 years went back and did a retail course at the local TAFE campus

Fast forward to 2022 karma finally hit Beford Industries as they lost major contracts in Millicent resulting in the whole depot consisting of laundromat and gardening being shutdown which made it sweet revenge for me after being paid way way below the legal minimum wage and made to work in extreme heat mowing lawns

2nd bit of revenge came to an old security boss of mine who was and still is a complete 🫏 i was a green horn bouncer having only done a Christmas eve crowd control gig with a local security company who kept me on their books until the business downsized several years later ended up applying for a bouncer/crowd controlling job with a security company called AAA security where my ex boss was a business partner

Several months later without warning was out of the job because the company was busted by the tax dept but later got picked up by ex boss again working under him and his taller but much kinder brother doing security at a pub in Naracoorte doing crowd controlling/bouncing every Saturday night this was a solid paying weekend gig sometime around 2017 onwards could have been earlier the publican kept on getting me in every Saturday night by myself to do security work some months later I was talking to a patron one shift he told me that my old boss got moved on because he had a tendency of causing fights instead of breaking them up

It took about 3 years and so many shifts where he treated me like a rookie before karma finally bit him big time unfortunately said pub is no longer a pub/live entertainment venue hasn't been since my head boss the publican shut it down due to power and gas prices being too high now its a family friendly pub/restaurant

This sounded like such a great thread to participate in. But I couldn't come up with any good revenge stories to tell. Dang, I really need to up my game. I must be a pushover. I did slow down to irritate a tailgating jerk once.

The revenge story in the OP is good, and a paybacks are hell sort of thing and I’m all for that.

Me? For paybacks… I’ve let tailgaters pass and then ride their ass, close with one foot on the brake pedal, trusting my reflexes and my brakes. Never been a problem, knock on wood. Stupid? Yes. Did they learn anything? Probably not.

For my ex’s? All I have are ex girl friends. I really don’t care if they’re doing well or not, as long as they leave me alone.

On that note, though… a few years ago I ran into an ex at a grocery store. She seemed happy to see me again and she still looked good. We had a good conversation and was tempted to ask if she wanted to exchange phone numbers, but I didn’t. I left her for a reason… oddly enough, just yesterday something triggered that memory, wishing we exchanged numbers.
