When someone's life is at risk, you do what you can to save them or even go check on things for someone when they don't have a means. You don't think about the consequences of your actions at that time. People were out in flood waters for countless number of hours, both the ones needed rescued and the rescuers. You'll unfortunately see more of this bacteria popping up, especially in heavier populated areas. Really is a shame. . . the ones trying to do good and that's what happened. Glad he could seek medical attention as soon as he did. Could have gone septic and lost his life. Just because the storm has blown over, everyone is still having to deal with the aftermath. Just one more reminder that you gotta be careful out there. Flood waters still remain in areas.

The A.D.D. media has moved on to their new bright and shiny toy, Irma, so we aren't getting any news at all from the ongoing Harvey situation. Are they still releasing water from the reservoirs? Last thing I heard there were about 100 roads still closed and some houses still flooded.

From what I have heard is all reservoirs that needed to be opened are now. Water levels have crested and now waiting to go back down. Most are dropping quickly, but lots of homes are still flooded. Lots of trash on side of the roads from emptying and gutting homes. Just started trash pick up a couple days ago. Mail deliveries started yesterday, but not really coming in from outside, just local mail getting thru.
