Wow I can just see it now. . good guy hits bad guy with rock (that is if he can even make it to the darn bucket). First thought in bad guys head. . you will be the next to die. Holy crap. What will the libs think of next? This really won't turn out like David and Goliath here.

I wonder if some of the mandatory shooting survival classes need to be changed around a bit.

I have a degree of social incompetence from Asperger's syndrome, and lost a job (in part) because I got labled as a crazy person because of what I wrote in a post-course evaluation form.

They talked about retreat and cover, and some other things.

I mentioned that a dead body can provide protection from bullets, and that the course needed to mention that hiding under a dead body can save your life.

There are times and occasions when being squeamish can kill you.

This suggestion is distasteful, but it's a distasteful subject.

If the intent of the course is to save lives, I feel that my suggestion was appropriate...especially in a written course evaluation that is solicited by the instructors.

Instead, I was labeled a crazy person.

Did anyone see the school system that is going to put a bucket of rocks in each classroom to counter any person that comes at them with a gun?

Maybe I can sell them some of my famous pointy sticks to help them fight off the bad guys.
I bet long before anyone uses rocks against a bad guy with a gun, one kid will make another kid mad and the rocks will be used as weapons against the other kid.

How effective is throwing rocks against people with guns? Just ask the Palestinians, doesn’t seem to work too well for those kids.

Well...we can always put molotov cocktails in class.

Hiding under a corpse has been utilized many times in movies or just rubbing yourself in a comrades blood a faking it.

They even do it on The Walking Dead

Obviously, you had a bunch of libs rating your exam. I would have given you extra credit.

Thank you.

It's taught in the military.

I should have known better than to mention it, but it's my Asperger's.

The idea is socially unacceptable.

So, a part of why I got canned when I was trying to help save lives.

Ya know, the more I read about these school shootings, the more I wonder how these shooters got on the premisis in the first place. Surely if the school is secure then there should be no problem. I would have thought increasing security would be better than expecting kids to reember there's a bucket of rocks to hurl at someone with a gun.
What do the liberals call them? safe spaces? pfft. well they got that one wrong.

Actually, even though it made me laugh at first, I guess some rocks at hand is still better than just crawling under a desk and waiting to get shot. I’m a big believer in fight to your last breath. That includes anything that’s available at hand.

I still think they need to check out my big, pointy sticks. Keep one under the teachers desk. Lol

If we want to go down the silly path, we all know that if I have a weapon, I need to get familiar with it & practice regularly.

So is this principal going to maintain regular rock-throwing practice? Maybe get something like a batting cage to let kids strengthen their arms & practice for speed & accuracy? Otherwise giving the kids rocks when in a high-pressure situation is there?

And will these buckets have trigger-locks on them? Will he make sure every parent has trigger-locks on all their rocks around their homes?

It goes from stupid to worse... liberalism!

Bringing rocks to a gunfight doesn't work so well, just ask the Palestinians....

*runs snickering from the room*

And will these buckets have trigger-locks on them?

Sounds like a Monty Python sketch..

Customer: "Ah, hello!"
Shopkeeper: "Good day sir, how can I help you"
Customer: (holds up a rock), "Ah, yes, I'd like to purchase a biometric lock for this weapon please."
Shopkeeper: "That's a rock"
Customer: "Yes, and I'd like to prevent my son from using it please"
Shopkeeper: "Well, how old is your son?"

Eh, never did get British humor, all the time.....lol
