Good they can get rid of the idiots and restructure the company.
I only had one silly thought when I read this.
IF someone were to shoot Hillary with a Remington, that should send sales through the roof & save the company!
Just kidding! Nope, I'm not encouraging anyone to do this. A couple of years or decades ago would have been the time for such actions. Now she's just a sour old prune babbling to inanimate objects. But it would help their sales & save an American Icon of a company.
Other ideas on how to save Remington?

$950 million in debt, and missed their last payment. Partly due to manufacturing guns in New York. Time for them to move all operations to gun friendly states.

Gun friendly and NY taxes you to death. They should go to Tennessee, Texas, or other states with no state income tax

Remington has a ammo plant here in Arkansas
but on another note they have spread their self's thin and the quality of their products is not what it used to be,,,,,this could be good for them sell off some of the company's they bought and get rid of the junk guns and start producing a quality firearm again,,,,the last new Remington I bought I had to return because the bluing was worthless and the gun was rusting,if I took it outside when I brought it home it had to be wiped down and oiled to keep the rust off
the old Remington's you could leave on the porch a few days or out in the truck a week and never see a speck of rust on it

They should. But they'll probably do like Winchester did and sell out to a foreign company and go offshore.
All of the old H&R (Harrison & Richardson) rifles and shotguns I have are excellent.

Moving to Alabama. New York is such a liberal Hell Hole. Yeah, I said it.
They opened a pretty big plant in Huntsville a few years ago....
