A more realistic "zombie" scenario, is an airborne rabies virus variant. Ala 28 Days.... Almost a 100% mortality rate, would certainly make a mess of the world. Imagine what a horde of rabid humans would do.....

Vampires were the rage for a bit...now zombies is all.

For preppers, it represents some great opportunities...first, prepping for zombies is kind of pop culture now...which also allows for a humorous "out" for discussion...and because prepping for zombies is basically prepping for ANY threat...biological, other survivors, etc.

While the chances of a LITERAL zombie apocalypse are slim to none, a figurative zombie apocalypse is a lot more likely that you think. All it would take would be for the EBT system to go down for a week.
