I would like you say thanks to all and am glad to see there are like minded persons like me. I have been in the Middle east (Iraq and Afghanistan) for the last few years and have seen the way people pillage and suffer from the social breakdown. In these country's the people are starving, the lack of medical care and poor local government support. I am actively prepping with the family to prevent this from being us if anything was to happen within our area. The biggest concern for me is the weather but i want to be ready for anything. Thanks before for all the great information to help everyone to provide better for themselves.

Thanks for the welcomes......... I retired in 2005 after 22 years, I had many different deployments under my belt. Once I entered the civilian work force, I did not adapt well due to lack of structure and work ethic so within just a few months I was back supporting the armed forces (All Branches) as a contractor. Been here every since!!!!
