Drama seems to follow me around lately and I really do my best to avoid it. I hate drama, dislike the little 15 year old
. school girl drama like games.
But, here we go. And this one is kinda breaking my heart a little bit, maybe not a break but certainly a crack or maybe a fissure
Ya’ll remember the pig roast we had a month or so ago? While that was the start of this drama saga
The land owner is a guy I have know for over 10 years I consider him a solid type guy an acquaintance
I only have 2 friends I have a lot if aquaintances (The difference is a thread all on its own)
We will call him Bruce, and he is a character, He buys bourbon by the half gallon and can tell some really goodjokes
That evening I got the pit lit and the pig on when it rained. Bruce decided his truck needed to be moved so he moved it. He slid it sideways into my van causing damage to the rear passenger side
I did not come unglued, I did not say a word he did it, he knew he did and he had been drinking
Stayed up all night tending tbd fire
The next morning, I spoke to him about it. Told him that I really did not want to bring it up but, my lady is not going to be happy till it is repaired. He stepped up and owned it 100%
Lol. You see where this us going?

Your right
He started avoiding my calls Saturday
So now, Frodo has to walk into the telephone booth and OdorF will come out to do what ever it is that has got to be done to stifle this disrespect
No violence, no damage to others property.
But I can get loud and the bass in my voice will vibrate windows

Told you, I hate drama

I really hate drama myself. he needs to be a man, then own up to it. If he chooses not to, you can...
1) Confront him with a bill for the damages
2) Let his spouse know (if he has one) and tell her you are very unhappy with your friend.
3) Call the police
4) Wipe him from your address book and end the friendship

I gave him 2 shop estimates
They are around 2500 each
Then talked to a buddy tbat does body work, he will do it under the table for
1000 cash
He chose to g with tne 1000 cash route
But stalled right there
Telling his wife is an excellant move since he has said she does neeed to know

I once sold a slightly used Toyota to a friend, who was also a cop and now the chief of police for a well known police department seen on television lately. He wrote me two bad checks, and both bounced. He was going through a divorce so I sold him the truck for half the price it was worth, just to help my "so-called" friend. He kept giving me the runaround and would not pay me for it. I simply located his dad's address, and wrote him a letter saying that he pay me within one week, or I would report him to his police department and he would lose his job. He delivered cash to my front door on the day he received the letter.

I don't have time for this BS as well, and I have not talked to his son since.

Yes, I apologize for assuming his sexual pronoun without asking first.

This world had really gone to 💩
Lol! In no way was my comment meant to be critical, more so, I see that some of both genders (can I say that now???) need to take responsibility for whatever mess ups they do. I have known too many women who are always victims and cannot do this or that. Long stories I could tell about some of them.

Narcissistic neighbor whom I used to talk to, once told me she hit a car and kept on driving. She went home and after a few hours, realized that what she did was wrong. She drove back there and the car was gone.

She and I are very different people! I would have stopped right then and there and sought the car's owner. If I couldn't identify the owner, I would have taken photos of what I had done, left a written a note with my contact number, and then left.

There is only one pronoun, the South figured it out ages ago. Y'all covers everything. this covers the rest of it.

Been there done that. In our twenties a so called friend of my wife's rear-ended her parked car messing around at the park. Said she would pay for it etc. I was pissed my wife didn't get a police report. It was only two blocks from the station. So as you can imagine the friend never did Jack. So we took her to small claims. She admitted to the judge she did it and told him we were just going to have to wait. Well he didn't like her attitude ruled in our favor and we still never saw a dime. We did however learn a lesson that was priceless. When it comes to money and responsibility some people maybe even most just can't be trusted.

This doesn't bode well for future pit BBQs on the guy's property... maybe the shootouts will still happen, lol.
Nope
This will kill this friendship
I only put up with his drinking because he owned the land

Here is a funny story
Same guy, same location
2 years ago. A pig roast shooting party
Rice got drunk, he was the only person drinking because we do it allow it INLESS it us your property
He needed a ride home so I was taking him
Ok had no idea where home was so was taking my directions from him
I figured out something was wrong when we pulled into the back parking lot of Raymond County Jail
I tossed it in reverse and took his butt back to the Bbq

So sorry your bbq turned into a problem
I never let friends borrow anything for this reason, you might not be friends if they don't pay you back or return what they borrowed
But in this case you couldn't have prevented it
Hope he pays up and gets your vehicle fixed

Drinking and shoot outs is an absolute “NO” and against all rules in my circle of friends. Land owner or not. 😡
