Well, After 6 weeks of searching I went for my 4th job interview today and..........was offered the job on the spot, my offspring is also working. Just wanted to post a bit of good news and to prove the employment market is not all doom and gloom.

That is good news for you my friend!! Congrates on the new job position and apparently my cat Little Bit is trying to say the same thing as she is wanting to walk across the keyboard right now. . .

Thanks all, it's one of the reasons we moved here were better job prospects. I'm not one for bi!ching and whining if something isn't working, I'll try and fix it.
I have moved 200 miles to improve the lot of this family, just need to get on the property ladder now, no more renting.

I'm really pleased it happened so quickly, we had funds to see us through til Christmas and paid 6months rent up front just in case things took a while, but happily the contigency plan wasn't needed.
