Someone stole a Horizon Air Q400 from Sea-Tac, possibly shot down by fighters

Breaking - What appeared is a stolen Q400 from @AlaskaAir has crashed near Seattle. Ground stop in effect at @SeaTacAirport where airplane took off w-o authorization. F-15s were scrambled & it now appears the plane has crashed. No confirmation whether it was shot down.

I read where he told air traffic control that he had some screws loose and apologized to them and anyone that’d be affected by his death. Now they’re saying he was suicidal.

I read all that earlier today too. I don’t care if he wanted to kill himself, and am glad he at least didn’t take anyone else with him. I do care that he wrecked someone else’s property, probably in the millions of dollars worth. Like I said, I couldn’t care less if anyone decides to off themselves asi figure it’s their life and decision. I do think a little consideration should be used for the poor person who has the unlucky privilege of finding you though. Shooting yourself leaves a nasty mess, involving others is evil, destroying someone else’s property is wrong as well. Personally, if I get some horrible illness with no cure and a lengthy painful outcome then I’m going to write letters to everyone I care about, put on a diaper (to not leave a mess for someone) and wash down some strong drugs with a 300.00 bottle of wine. I believe in going out with dignity and on my own terms if possible.
