What? Ok I am very happy but,, what’s up?
Something broke and needs my attention?
She wants to pay something that is way out of our budget?
Mom in law wants to move in?

I did the same recently for my husband. I didn't want anything, I just wanted to, because he's been brilliant supporting me to go back to college. Meat loaf sandwiches are one of his favourite things. Maybe you are looking at this from the wrong angle? Have you been nicer than normal?
