Something to think about

OK this has been laying on my heart for sometime now and I really do not know how to accept this true reality of what may happen so I just want to throw it all on the table. This may have been covered already but I've looked and didn't see it.
OK I believe that whatever situation happens to cause a shtf martial law will more than likely be in forced. Looking at Katerina guns were taken and there was nothing anyone could do about it. With Preppers being the "bad guys" do you honesty believe that u could hold on to your 2 amendment? I mean think about it when they come u either give your guns up or die. In my area I am doing everything possible to network for other preppers but I've had no luck so I guess its me vs gov. I mean I've heard about this " list" the gov. Has and I assume I am on because I am a christian and a youth pastor, I home school my kids, I am a gun owner so unfortunately I meet several criteria for the list. So what am I going to do to be able to keep my family safe if I am stripped of my prepps and guns? We could say head for the woods but the gov has a lot of ways to find u. Plus they have on file of every gun that is bought. So needless to say I feel a bit helpless BC I have no other preppers in my area. So how could you in a shtf situation, keep your guns and stay alive if everyone is against you?

hide some of your guns, if you buy new ones, buy from a gunshow,privately, make a hideout, when someone comes to collect say tou got burglerized just day or two ago, still in shock hadn't had time or whatever to go to police and make report...

Vern, not true in a good portion of the States (unsure where you are from), as was mentioned, hide some, A good majority of firearms I have purchased was second hand (no paper trail on my purchases)

I personally prefer guns, but have a crossbow, machete, walking stick with a point, etc. when you get down to it a pencil can be a pretty good defensive weapon. Always have a backup.

yup, a good backup is never bad, thanks to all info from Roninsensei I got some nice things at home along with my guns

Even though the NSA, Homeland Security, etc., may have all of our info regarding our weaponry as well as our thoughts, I think there are an awful lot of us out here and they'll have a hard time rounding us all up. Or, they'll come after people like me who are outspoken but mostly harmless - I'm all mouth and no guns - and neglect to get some of the hardcore folks out there.
The only reason they would come after any of us would be if there was a civil war. I think our economy will collapse first.

As for the NSA. HAVING the data is different than having USABLE data. The challenge for domestic intelligence has never been GATHERING the data...the real challenge is in COLLATING it into something useful. Simply put, unless you are red flagged, the government may have all kinds of info on you, but never actually seen by someone with two eyes.
