Yeah, it's not bad. I'm just really, really familiar with it, like you said we get used to it. I love the river, it's clean and the bottom is all sand and rock, so nice to swim in and canoe.
Spring is going to be so great! I have a bunch of choke cherry trees and Elderberry growing just down a path on an old railroad track, only a mile away. I will have more time this year to get out and enjoy it.
