Space X’s rocket exploded today, on purpose!

This was the last test before Elon Musks company Space X can take people to the space station for the first time since the shuttle program ended. Pretty cool to make a rocket blow up on purpose! Most of the homemade rockets we made as kids exploded, and we thought that was just about as cool. This test was to see if the capsule carrying astronauts could safely eject from a malfunctioning rocket and parachute back down in one piece. Flawless test. Eat dirt Boeing.....

SpaceX is pretty cool. Elon is weird but he comes up with some brilliant ideas.

He is definitely a weird dude, but like you said is brilliant. I like the fact that most of his projects are positive for the environment and mankind in general. Solar and Tesla are cleaner forms of energy and transportation, tunnel boring is mass transit meaning more efficient and less fuel for the masses. And rockets being developed to get people in more than one place in the universe is lowering the chance of extinction. I can say with 100% certainty that the earth will be hit by a giant asteroid one day. It’s a good idea to be in multiple places so if one is destroyed there is someone left somewhere else. Ties right into prepping. Now, with his star link satellites he will have internet all over the globe. I’m not sure how this will necessarily help mankind, but it sure will make a lot of money. I’d like to be able to invest in it right now.
