I'm not sure if I want to test the theory of this protecting me against mother nature. A sudden 200 mph object impact from a tornado or an impact of a 10 ton boat being washed inland during a tsunami or an impact to the door or being smashed door down buried in sand with thousands of pounds piled on top. A fancy coffin for sure. I'll just heed the warnings and get out of the way, I guess this thing would have it uses for some never the less it is cool.

Lets do multiple testings with this thing going over Niagara falls... with a human inside!

It's interesting, but I agree with getting out of a disasters way first off, if you have warning. I saw a picture of a barrier island before and after Katrina hit the gulf coast. There was a hurricane proof house, that was as perfect after the storm as it was before. Then the camera panned out and showed the complete devistation all around the area. No roads, no power, water or sewer. No infrastructure left at all. Yes you can survive, but seems to me a really good time to take a vacation.

well brent.thats probably a idea vacation spot now.on account there;'s probably no one else is there..
Good point, people pay to get away from their daily grind! A good salesman could paint this as a wonderful experience, adventure, solitude, a place where one can test oneself, a great place for a scavenger hunt ( although I think they call that looting)!

to bad i cant afford something like the capsule, when it comes to the hall closet thoe..on account,it would be great to have there..

A few companies in Texas have ideas that resemble the N.R's news clip. I've seen a few of something similar design by three rival bunker designers/builders. Still I'd agree with Maverick that you'd have a hard time convincing me to get into one of them. I have suffered severe vertigo after my injuries and don't do well even with a teacup ride at Disney World, apparently the ENT folks say that it is not repairable and even several doses of meclizine does not do the trick. What is really interesting, is I suffer no vertigo, when I am jumping, they have no idea why I suffer it on some things and other things I don't.
Good feed N.R. thanks
