WOW...Taking a Bath...nice set up and very well built and thought out design.
I’ve seen a set up very similar to this but had a shower curtain hanging on a hula hoop to prevent splashing. Thought it was pretty clever.I've used this primitive set up for a shower in the last two cabins I lived in. Totaling over 30 years. Most of the year I have plenty of hot water on the wood stove. It's funny how you start to do something that you think is going to be temporary and there you still are 30 years later. Or maybe that's just me. When I had my back surgery I pumped the water from the tub down my kitchen sink after the shower with a 12 volt pump from my camper for a few weeks rather than pick up the tub and dump it outside. I'm back to abusing my back now though. It's a little short on privacy when I have company is the only problem
During times when it was too cold to take a weed sprayer shower outdoors, we used the sprayer indoors while sitting in a plastic concrete mixing tub like the one shown below. Since our sprayer only holds 3 gallons, and since 3 gallons is plenty for a shower, it was no problem carrying the plastic tub outside to empty.I've used this primitive set up for a shower in the last two cabins I lived in.
