I'm sure that in the locust's minds they believe they are brave 'pioneers' bringing civilization to a wild and untamed world while simultaneously escaping the tyranny that has reduced their life to 'a-rat-in-a-cage' just like the ones that fled England centuries ago.
The result, of course, turned into "New England".

New Hampshire is still in the fight, Maine is still breathing, but the rest of us are down where we ain't dead.
For now. LePage has Maine in the black with an estimated 1 billion in the fund.
