Todays events in Las Vegas will surely start a new wave of smear campaigns against peppers, survivalists, militias and the like. For those not up to date. 2 individuals walked into a Ci ci's pizza restaurant and killed two sheriffs deputies. Then laid 2 flags on the bodies, a D.T.O.M flag and a NAZI flag. While telling all in earshot. "This is the start of a revolution". Then walked to a walmart killing a 3rd. The 2 barricaded themselves inside before a brief firefight with law enforcement. Reportedly, The wife shot the husband repeatedly before shooting herself as police closed in. (This information is still pretty fresh and might change as more facts are learned.)

As you can imagine. All manner of biased speculation and stereotypical theories will be given long before the true reasons for this violent outburst is known.

DrHenley, the perps did say that they had been to Bundy's ranch(Not sure if they really had or not though). The use of the Gadsden flag is a real bummer for me, though. They tried to portray III%ers, and that really was a far cry from anything that I would consider positive for our Nation. It's a damn shame, really. I saw a press conference with some local police and they mentioned a concealed permit holder attempting to confront the guy when the woman(Who he had walked right past because he didn't think she was involved) snuck up on him, placing her pistol in his ribs and firing a lethal shot... God bless him for acting so selflessly, though. The officers even praised him, and I don't think anyone in their right mind could say that what he did wasn't honorable. At least he did what he could to stop the attack. There are tactical mistakes here for sure, but honestly, his heart was in the right place.. .Something that we are seeing less and less of these days.

Speaking of which, another school shooting this morning. WTHeck? I see more ammo hoarding in our future, and more and more gun laws before Obama is out of office. The conspiracy theorist in me wants to call red flag, but to be honest, I think it's more of a concerted effort to REPORT and emphasize such incidents, versus them actually being on the rise. When else would this crime be front page news? Shootings happen every day. So why make them newsworthy? Anti-government and a sensationalist cosplay pic. That's why.

Anti gun groups will definitely use this, But theres also been a growing assault on the III%'s & preppers. From both government and race baiters, i.e. SPLC. Are always preaching about how were a growing threat. They put out a magazine a while back, explaining how were all clearly racist about Obama being elected. And delusional for preppering for any cataclysmic event. That magazine is used by the FBI as a information source. And as for the government, The leaked documents on classifications on what a domestic terrorist is, Is pretty clear.

My dislike of Obama certainly has nothing to do with race. I would have gladly elected Powell, if he was running. Moreover, thing is, Obama was an absentee, do nothing Congressman with questionable allegiances and world views. Hardly the ideal candidate for highest office in the land. Granted, the main party alternatives weren't pleasant either (which is why I voted for Ron Paul). Some call it a "wasted" vote...but the only wasted vote is the one not cast. If more people voted for someone they actually thought would do a good job, instead of one of the two same crooks offered by the media, we'd be in much better shape.

If you read today's Washington Times(A supposed "Conservative" paper) you will see an article on this shooting and their background as "Militia and white supremacists" as if the two are synonymous. It's not just me misreading it, either. I wasn't the only one to take note of it. There are numerous mentions of these things in that article, and this from a paper that most would have expected to defend the conservative, patriotic movement happening lately. I don't know of one militia member, III%er, or prepper who would suggest that this is the right way to go about turning our Country back around. We just want America to be America, not for people to die senselessly.

And give them the kinda air time we could only dream of. Look at the bundy ranch incident. The minute Bundy said his little statement, Anybody with credibility had to separate or be labeled racist. And thats when people started crying wolf about drone strikes and shooting deserters. To anybody who'd listen. Look at OP American Spring. A complete clusterf#ck. The system in place is almost completely infested with corruption. Never befor has so many heads of government worked for whatever their suppose to be regulating. But this is only my opinion.

Amazing how they gloss over the "Hollywood" killer that first killed three people with a KNIFE, then went to shoot others. If someone wants to commit murder, outlawing the tool used is NOT going to solve the problem. They will simply use another tool.

Look... I'm tired of this mindset of defeat. This is EXACTLY where III% comes into play. For every 100 people there are, there are only 3 of us that actually take action to enact change. While we are all griping about what's going on, we keep voting the SAME people in office, over and over again! I hear people all the time talking about how they would, could, or should, but they CAN'T because their job is on the line, they're afraid of being locked up, or being SHOT just for speaking their piece. No way was this Country, or any other free country for that matter, started by people who were afraid or mentally defeated. We are creating problems that DON'T exist! how can we focus on making changes when we're convinced that we'll be MURDERED for doing something PEACEFUL? How can we enact change when we ALLOW people to make us look like nuts?

The last rally I went to in Richmond had hundreds of people marching for 2A rights. When the news cameras showed up, they wanted to show the guys in camo, holding AKs and AR15s. They didn't want to talk to those of us who showed up looking like we do in every day life. Then they wanted to interview people and NO ONE would talk to them... Except ME. Not to say that I'm Mr Perfect, but I am willing to, and others are willing to, but the media avoid us at all cost... We need to make our own media, a la youtube, facebook,, and other social media and internet sites that give us a platform.

Eric Cantor was defeated this week after raising some $8MILLION by a man who raised less than $200THOUSAND! how? The PEOPLE did it!!!!!

I can't say this enough.... HOPE IS NOT LOST. We are powerful, and we are hundreds of millions deep. There is NO WAY that we can't make things happen if we TRY! We can't sit back and NOT TRY! Ronald Reagan made it into office in MUCH worse conditions than we have now. We have a LARGE group of people that are wanting to moveAmerica back to being a free country and to being CONSERVATIVE. We just have to keep in mind that come election time, the powers that be are going to give us the ILLUSION that we have to pick from the same old candidates(Who are actually one in the same) instead of MAKING CHANGE.
