Soon after she graduated from college, I had to call my daughter on the carpet over snowflake attitudes she picked up in college. I literally told her "DON'T BE A SNOWFLAKE!"
She's usually pretty level headed, but total immersion in the college culture messed her head up temporarily.
She got a rude introduction to the real world shortly after that at her first job, and that seemed to cure her.

Can't believe they didn't address these β˜»οΈπŸ’£
I seems and could be that they only have the brain capacity to take on the easiest tasks first, see how the world reacts and then, and only if and then, carry on with the program which got them the most attention and desired reaction from the sheeple...if no reaction comes, they have to spend their "valuable-world-changing-time" on looking for "or creating" another pressing issue so as to get their rocks off and be in the center of their own little important universe....climate change, evolution, volcanos in NY, making DC another state, or taking away your 2nd Amendment rights, price of TP and such important things...

Yeah my oldest who went to college after a divorce and two kids (not in that order BTW) did the same. Unfortunately, my 2x4 isn't long enough to smack some sense back into her where she lives and works. She is now immersed in that BS 24-7.

That generation isn't happy unless they are bitching about something. If that word offends anyone see my "fair notice" wall in my office.

Just love the black one in the middle sis.
Makes you think about some of the people around you in a restaurant while hearing what they are discussing.......

One of the reasons I talked the husband into moving away from his family was exactly for that reason. They almost literally own the small town. When they got together, usually once a month, I had to sit around with the women and listen to them gossip about everyone in town; I started hanging out with the guys who at least talked about happenings and ideas. I grew up around that crap in my small private school and the ice arenas...I'd had enough.

I run as far away from people who have nothing better to say than to gossip about others behind their backs as I can get. Experience has taught me that there is a damn good chance that when you aren't around to participate, they are saying the same mean things about you!

I've got more important fish to fry!

Yes, I went to the local meetings of the German Driving Instructors in our city sometimes. When I went and the driving school X was not present...all talked about how bad his students were. When the driving school X came the next month...but driving school Y was not there...they all talked about School Y....and so on....I decided to stop going and as I was leaving, I told them to go ahead and talk about me...since I had more students than about 3 of the other schools TOGETHER....never went back...only got along with 4 other (from 32) instructors anyway.
