The lady drug me to see a house today, the house I talked about before that belongs to a women she knows from her 'women in business' group, thing, whatever it is. I had previously checked out the neighborhood and the outside of the house, but not the inside. The house has been thoroughly remodeled / updated in the last few years but the multi-level layout screams 1970's. There are like 4 levels but the longest stair case is like 7-8 steps. The heated garage is contained within the house, so you walk right from it into the mid-level living room and is not included in the square footage.
Here are the specs: About 4,000 sq ft, open floor plan, extra large kitchen with island/bar, large open dining space, 4 bedrooms, 3 1/2 bathrooms, 1 large bonus room in lower level, main floor living room, lower level living room, mid-level "den" or TV room, closets everywhere, large mechanical room, laundry room with tons of storage, large open space in lower level currently used as home gym, deep 2 stall garage with work area, large open patio that walks out from kitchen dining area, medium sized covered patio that walks out from living room, front entrance patio, side yard patio, fenced in yard, and more. The two larger bedrooms are massive, as is the bonus room. The two other bedrooms are what I would call normal size. The master bedroom had a king-size bed that looked freakishly small in the room and featured its own multi-room restroom with a large walk in rain shower and double sink. The whole house is essentially white with wood floors and brass fixtures, lights and accents with a random accent wall in dark grey or wood panels here and there.
The lady loves this house and was throwing out ideas of what she would change or update all the way back to the apartment. All I cared about was having a place to work out and a gun room, check and check. Plus there are numerous places where I could keep a row of grills and smoker. The price is nuts, but is right in line with what other houses in the neighborhood are priced at or have sold for recently.
