Idiots will not notice this hypocrisy and sycophants will ignore it. Fools will surrender their arms in the name of "safety". They will insensibly surrender their liberty at the same time. This is how slaves are made.

Love it. An armed man is a citizen. An unarmed man is a subject.
 
So strange what just pops into your head. A poem my late brother wrote when he was a kid in the 1950s. It has stuck in my mind all these years.
"When I was young, I used to think that girls were sweet as pie.
Now when I think, of what I thunk, I think I thunk a lie."
