I heard Beta I think it was, is going to be skirting our coastline. 68 mph winds and 6-10 inches of rain. I guess bring it on. We are so dry right now we can handle that amount over 3 days and it will soak on in. I would much rather give it to Arctic and Mav though. They need the rain!

β is pulling cold air in from somewhere, it was in the 60's this morning and is going down in the mid 50's tonight. Cold enough that there weren't any mosquitoes out. It's supposed to stay cool for several days. I'm lovin' it!

The whole south/east part of the state is getting effects of the storm now. We are getting the outer touches of the rain bands where I am. We have an office over in Houston area and they are preparing for a pretty good storm.
