Let me understand this... The most corrupt origination in the world that wants to levy taxes on the citizen's of sovereign nations to help finance it's corruption, oh wait... they call it a voluntary tax.

Hmm, that sound like our tax code 'voluntary compliance' ya, let me know how far one gets with that argument. In the Military we had a thing called 'you are ordered to volunteer'

So the UN want's to become a tax collecting agency. I vote to move the UN to north korea or timbuktu.

ay,ay....maybe kim-ping-pong or what's his name is want to take them???
and the German minister want to impose a fuel tax (extra) so that we can pay for those muzzies invading Europe...this sounds more and more like Monty Python movie scripts.....

Pretty sure you mean what we Americans call "soccer", lol.

Would probably do fine to just make it a voluntary option when buying tickets and give some kind of perk or contest, etc. for those donating.

Yeah its SOCCER IE real football, never understood why my American friends call a game football when they pick the ball up and run with it, over here we call that Rugby :)
I agree, we screwed up the name of the game!
As far as a tax on it and all sporting events, I have no problem with it. We are so rich in this country (comparatively) that buying some bread for starving children around the globe is fine with me. The only issue I would have is who handles the money, and how much of it goes to hungry people.
