Take out pizza and breadsticks. This evening got pretty busy.

My wife's awesome spaghetti. I passed on the side of vegetables in favor of a Chianti.

I've been cutting back on weekday drinking, but spaghetti calls for Chianti, and steak calls for Cabernet Sauvignon, and chicken piccata calls for a white wine. If my wife doesn't want me to drink, she needs to pick non-drinking meals!

Beef and bean smothered burrito. It is a fall thing for me.

Making goulash in the crockpot! Not sure what will end up in there!

Parmasan breaded cod and corn on the cob. Corn season is very late this year so every day is corn on the cob until its done.

home made vegetable soup
&
chicken fried rice + coleslaw

Dessert ...
probably ..some cheese cake

That’s the best kind of goulash. Throw everything in there. It almost always is delicious.

I am making quesadillas with grilled chicken, cheddar cheese, monterey jack cheese, asadero cheese, red onion, jalapeno, poblano, roma tomatoes and cilantro seasoned with a cumin, garlic powder, and a chili powder blend.

After my doctor's appointment we're going to have an early dinner at Outback Steak House. On the way down here we stopped at Stinkers for a gas station hamburger.

Breakfast for dinner at Penny's Diner again. 2 eggs, 2 sausage, 2 bacon, hash browns and toast. It was fantastic...

Husband wanted a diet dinner. So little granddaughter and I had fried eggs and french toast, and a cup of fruit.

Pea soup with hamhocks . It was pretty tasty if I do say so myself

Tonight I am making Creole Chicken & Sausage and a 50/50 blend of basmati rice and riced cauliflower. The daughter has a low spice tolerance so I am going to push it close to her limit then just add some hot sauce to mine.

I'm thinking salads with chicken tonight. There is enough leftover goulash, but I will probably freeze that and use it as a base for chili another time.

Is today Sunday already? We had biscuits and gravy this morning. We only have B&G on Sundays.

Daughter is coming home for the weekend, so making chicken vol au vents, roasties, our own cabbage and roasted veg, and a chocolate cake.

My mother was used to say when she was making a meal with the leftovers
