They test their, the Air Force base a few miles east of their is where most live that work at Area 51 including the pilots, most of the perimeter guards are Mercs aka contractors. When Lisa and I married we honeymooned on top of tikaboo peak and traveled around Area 51, we been back around that area several times. We would go into Rachel to get a bite and beer, every now and then you would see Air Force guys from Nellis AFB doing the same, it's a cool little town that sets roughly between Nellis and Area 51.
