Since our road is still impassable we had to cancel our dentist and our eye doctor appointment and another doctor appointment for me. Thats alright. I don’t like going to doctors anyway. They're just drug pushers anyway now days.
We rescheduled for April.
Wish I could reschedule my dentist today, my least favorite thing to do, but husband is intent on going. Dentists are always finding something wrong.

What are crockpot liners?

Have a chiropractor appointment in a little bit then a couple quick errands, then to the old house one last time to finish sweeping up and dig up some of my plants to bring home.
Plastic liners that I put in crockpot before filling with food. At the end all I do is pull out the liner and very little if any clean up to do. I use them and also roaster liners. Big time savers!

We will be waiting for a GOOD report!!🤞🙏🦶
I’ve got good news and bad news.

Good news is I get to keep both toes. They are ALIVE!!!!! There was a possibility that I would lose them. I was keeping that to myself because I didn’t want negative vibes out there.

Bad news is I return to work in three weeks.

So glad your toes are ok, but sorry you have to eventually go back to work. You can't retire already??? Ha. You must of really whacked your foot!

Doctor took off the dressing and they looked like something out of a Mary Shelley novel.

Ow, your poor foot. I once got kicked in the calf pretty hard by a teen wrestler trying out judo for the first time and trying a foot sweep. Which would not be a kick to my calf, but it was. Spent a while on crutches, from below my knee to my ankle was very very ugly. The urgent care didn't think I was telling the truth when I told them what happened. Kept asking about domestic violence. Ha.
88 more paychecks...bi weekly? You'll get there.

Got around to a long over due project. I have a cheap press board ‘over the toilet’ bathroom cabinet. I bought it about 8yrs ago, put it together myself, price about $70. It was looking pretty dingy so I priced new ones online. Now they want $160 for the same cheap pos! I had some white primer left over from a recent project and some white enamel spray paint so I figured ‘why not?’. Despite the fact I’m the worlds worst painter. No joke, a friend once described me as ‘the most dangerous man alive with a can of spray paint’! 🤣

Anyway, it was a nice day outside, temps in the low 80’s, I sanded the cabinet with a palm sander first. While it was upside down I put a coat of primer on it. I just went out and checked. It’s mostly dry so I flipped it over, gonna go out in a bit and prime the parts I missed. Tomorrow I’ll spray paint it. My bathroom doesn’t have great lighting anyway, how bad can it be? $20 in paint and sandpaper beats $160.

Got more blackberry plants. I'm trying to get a sweeter berry than what my Apaches produce (adding Triple Crown and Ebony King).

Got potting mix (will need this as some of the Ebony King vines got damaged and I want to use this to pot up the vines and see if I can nurse them back).

Got a Joseph's Coat climbing rose. Which I've been looking for for years.

Watched Hidden Heights Farm on YouTube talk about their solar generator.

Ordered gourmet popcorn for my mama's birthday.

Told my aunt and uncle who got me started on blackberries years ago with the two original Apaches about the Ebony King vines. I feel like everything my uncle taught me about blackberries will transfer over. Wondering if grow tubes would help initially (I have some left from my muscadines).

Bunch of different things today.

Started a test of the battey backup running the two chest freezers.

Merged new seeds into my stock of seeds in the freezer.

Watered all trees and clone cuttings.

Checked out the new set of 0-6 inch outside micrometers. They are not Sterret quality but they will serve my needs. The tightest measurements I see in my future is 0.003" clearance between a crank shaft and the bearings. I will keep them. The case they came in is junk. I will keep it until it falls apart.

More elbow grease on stripping the paint from Jim Beam.

I am considering going with that for now.

Q: what do you Think?

I will cut of both ends for it to fit. I can experiment with the cut- offs to evaluate optional finishes or more stripping.

Life is an adventure. May as well enjoy learning as I go.

Behave!

Ben
