Update on putting those feeders Up, Wx has changed to include Friday so T F n Sat, Strong Storms imminent...!!!

Helped an older lady get her's up today! She saw hummingbirds checking out her plastic flowers! Sure enough about 20 minutes later there were several Hummers at her feeders!!

Alright! I guess I will put that on my list for this season too because even though I didn’t feed them last year we still saw them around, resting on the line or hovering near where I’d put it a couple of years ago.

We get those pesky little hummers around here all summer. They're always poking around the flowers we have on the deck, so there's no need to feed them.
Feed the poor babies!!

We feed birds all winter but don't feed hummingbirds. We have too much problems with ants around here always getting in the hummingbird feeders.
I put Vaseline around the top of my feeders, the ants can't/won't cross it!
Thanks Pearl I hadn't heard of that. I may give that a try. I will say that over the winter I really got tired of feeding birds. Lugging bags of 50 lbs of bird food from one side of the house to the other got old real fast.
