We all remember that too Dave. But, I also remember how many times they disobeyed God and got punishment thru hordes of armies coming thru, killing most of them, carrying the rest away, destroying the temples, burning the cities down to the ground and only saving the few faithful to come back and re-build everything all over again.
Jesus himself once said: O Jerusalem, how many times did you get prophets to lead you to your God and how many prophets have you killed, verily, I say, one day, not one stone here will be on top of another.
We do not know how many of the Israelites are truly following their God as they should, just as we do not know how many Christians are truly following God as they should.
We all hope to be saved from the Great Tribulation, we should all pray for the Israelites to be saved from themselves as they were responsible for their own downfalls many times. I am not saying pray for the Jews and forget all the other innocents in the world, but God did choose Abram first and named Jacob and Israel "his children".
Pray for all the innocents, prayers save more souls, prevent more evil and help more people than any of us will ever know till we get home and HE tells us what our prayers did for others and ourselves. Live free, Gary

My line is choosing to stand with those who celebrate life rather than death...especially the belief that killing someone, man, woman. child, simply because they do not share your religion and killing yourself to accomplish it will bring about your own salvation and reward. That is just darkness.
Be careful with that. Some don't do there evil overtly.
I have pretty good senses about people. I work with animals, and you don't ever want to play poker with me....I can even tell when a diagnosed Sociopath is hiding something.
