I am very thankful for both those freebies/discounts and your post Weedy. I hope the many Vets here will accept and appreciate those offers. For some reason that I can not really articulate, I have never been able to allow myself to participate in things like this. Veteran's Day, like Memorial Day and 9/11, aren't always happy days for me and I tend to isolate and avoid human contact. I will be honest when I tell you I have been watching the calendar with dread knowing that the 11th is coming up.
